Shelties in view

Sorry but no Halo or Midnight in this photo…..Both seem to be enjoying the company of Di who is sat close by sipping a glass of red wine…With Halo supplying music from Bruce Springsteen for us all to enjoy on this late summer evening… …Still…..No matter…..For here, we have in front of us Misty…..Daughters Molly and Maysie-May…..And great great grandchild Jazz….And here is the thing…….This photo has no prompting or setting up from me whatsoever……They just decided to strike up this pose and then patiently waited for me to abandon my glass of wine in favour of my camera …..And then doing the easy bit of focusing and click……In my humble view….I don’t think they could have posed any better……But quite why Duffy the bear (On the left of the photo) suddenly came over all camera shy and ducked out the photo, I have no idea…..Maybe he was missing Halo and Middy…..But at least it seemed to amuse both Maysie and Molly…

As you can see I have the CraZy Gang team lined up ready for a game of football…….And to be honest, I am deliberately taking my time with the team talk………For like you ……We can see how happy they all look….And I for one, do not want to spoil this good mood by warning them about that large wave that is about to hit the English shores and to keep on rolling up to where the CraZy Gang are standing…….Yes I can see where you are coming from where you ask if they would be better off having a shower after the football match rather than before…….But look at it from my point of view…..I may never get another chance like this to get one over the CraZy Gang……And let’s face it…I have waited a long long time to be on the winning side…….And look…..I am more than high enough up the beach for the wave to miss me completely …..(So lucky don’t you think)……So I am relying on you dear reader to back me up on this one by keeping silent and not to warn them about what is happening behind them ……Will you do that…..Just for me I wonder!!!!!!....Of course you will ~Sic~

Boys and their toys…..

The bad guys thought that they had it all going for them…..A fast getaway car……A fool proof plan……A secret beach track that lead to their hideaway that no one but them knew about ……And last but not least……My favourite bedtime teddy……(Who they were going to hold to ransom)…….Well it looked game set and match to the bad guys…….And I was going to have pay monies from the Sheltie treat fund and my beer fund to get the bad guys to hand back my bedtime teddy…. .But the bad guys had failed to take in one very important consideration in the getaway plan……And that was super hero traffic cop Halo…..Who had picked up the bad guys trail some miles back…..And was never going to let it go once he had hold…….As he soon began to close in fast…..To bring him right on the tail of that fast car with all lights flashing and sirens blaring ……But still the fast car would not stop……Leaving office Halo no alternative but to bring the full weight of the law to make that fast car stop….And stop it did …….Very abruptly and sudden stop…Leaving Halo to free the hostage and most importantly……To save the much inflated beer fund……Which
I managed to merge with the Sheltie treat fund to it in all the confusion…..Happy days don’t you think !!!

Sheltie`s Rule

Look…..I agree it might look a little awkward for me……But I think that despite what your friends might say…..  You will find that just because I forgot to bring your treats on our evening walk does not give you the right to confiscate my cans of beer……Yet in view of the circumstances that the both of you can be as stubborn as mules and you have friends in high places …….(And I need that drink)…..I am prepared to run over to the local fish and chips shop and get you a jumbo sausage to share……No deal you say…..It has to be a jumbo sausage for each of you, and one each for the rest of the CraZy Gang too…… or the beer goes over the wall …….Ummmmm…….Needless to say that I had to give in to the demands…….But looking on the bright side…..At least I get to sit alongside Jazz and Halo on the wall and enjoy the sea view with my beer a beer in my hand  

Shelties promise

Last night as it got near to our bedtime……I was telling Halo a story on how as a young lad I use to hitch hike a ride to get me from A to B before I was old enough to drive a car legally ….( Is it my imagination…But looking back… The world did seem a safer place then)…….I thought at the time of telling Halo, he was really hanging on my every word……But It still came as a big surprise to find a note on my bedside table from Halo telling me that he had taken the... CraZy Gang down to the waterside to see if they could hitch a ride to the USA on one of the passing merchant ships…….Well…..As you can image ……I quickly dressed and raced down to the waterfront to find them…….And as luck would have it…..The CraZy Gang as yet, had no luck in getting a ship to pick them up…….Still trying to get my breath back ……I challenged Halo to explain just what he was playing at …….But it wasn’t Halo that answered me…..It was Duffy the Bear…...He told me that it was not Halo fault, but his…And his alone…….As he had been telling Halo that although he loved being a part of the CraZy Gang, and living with us…..He just wanted a short visit his homeland state California again to say hi to a few close friends (Heidi and Prince) and to see a few sights seeing tours, before heading back to English home again…….And that’s where Halo and the CraZy Gang stepped in with a promise of help for Duffy, and a chance for them also to get their paws on a stateside with visits to all their friends….. Well what do you do in a situation like that……Apart from to join them……So if you are a captain of one them ships that are passing by and heading to America ……Please stop to pick us up……
